Fenbendazole 222 mg: what it is, and what it is not

Fenbendazole is a benzimidazole anthelmintic. It binds parasite beta-tubulin so susceptible worms cannot form microtubules or absorb glucose. The 222 mg tablet is a common solid strength in veterinary and parallel-import packs. It is not licensed in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia or New Zealand as a human cancer medicine.

Viral social-media protocols that treat fenbendazole as chemotherapy are not a substitute for an oncologist. We do not sell it with that claim, and this article will not give a “cycle.” If you have a suspected worm infection, a clinician should identify the parasite and often prefer a human-licensed drug such as mebendazole or albendazole.

How the chemistry works — in worms

Host toxicity is usually lower than parasite toxicity because of differences in tubulin binding, but liver enzymes and blood counts can still move, especially at high or prolonged doses copied from forums. Stomach upset is common. Pregnancy is a reason to avoid benzimidazoles unless a specialist insists. Jaundice, dark urine or severe abdominal pain means stop and get medical help.

Veterinary history is not a human licence

Fenbendazole has a long record against gastrointestinal nematodes in animals. That history does not make a 222 mg tablet an over-the-counter human pinworm course. Labelling, purity standards and the species on the box matter. Customs authorities can inspect agricultural or veterinary actives even in a discreet parcel.

Not a cancer protocol from this shop

There is no approved oncology indication. Anecdotes online skip tumour type, drug interactions, liver monitoring and the harm of delaying real treatment. If you are under cancer care, take this question to that team — not to a blog cart button.
